Bits from the Release Team: Debian 10 'buster' is frozen; let's get it in shape
https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2019/03/msg00003.html
Dear all,
Just like we announced in our freeze policy [1], the full freeze of
buster started today, some minutes ago. This means that from now on
(well, practically already 10 days ago) all migrations to testing will
require manual approval by the release team. You should now really be
targeting RC bug fixes in your uploads to unstable. Please re-read the
"Full freeze" section of the freeze policy [1] for more details and
for instructions on how to apply for unblocks.
While we are at it, we would like to invite you to think about
subjects worth mentioning in the release notes. Since the migration to
salsa, you can now simply fork the release notes repository [2] and
submit your merge request. We still accept bugs against the
release-notes package as well of course.
You can help by testing the upcoming release and fixing
release-critical bugs in buster. Upcoming bug squashing parties have
been announced already in several places including Paris, Gothenburg,
Salzburg and others. For details of a BSP near you, please see the
Debian Wiki [3].
For the release team,
Paul
