Sources: New York Cosmos to announce Raul signing this week

Several sources tell EOS that the New York Cosmos will finally announce the signing of Real Madrid legend Raúl Gonzalez this week, likely for Thursday.
Raúl, 37, is expected to sign a multi-year deal with the club. Part of that deal will be a role in the coming Cosmos Academy, which is expected to begin development in 2015. One source tells us Raúl has already begun taking part in talks with Cosmos ownership, sharing his vision — and budgetary needs — for the club’s youth development program.
